Joseph A. Reichert, OD, FAAO

Dr. Joe Reichert is a graduate o f the University of Houston College of Optometry. He established his practice in El Reno in 1981 with his wife Dr. Pam Reichert. They also have an office in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. From 1983 through 1987 he served as co-director of the specialty clinic at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. During this time he also taught contact lens fitting to the ophthalmology residents. Dr. Reichert has earned his fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.) by completing the required number of case studies as well as extensive testing. In 1992 he completed a post-graduate flexible residency in ocular pathology at the Vision Education Foundation in Oklahoma City. Dr. Reichert is a member and past president of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association, the University of Houston Alumni Association, the American Academy of Optometry, and the American Academy of Optometry-Oklahoma Chapter. He is currently serving as president of the American Academy of Optometry-Oklahoma Chapter. Dr. Joe has been a long time member of the El Reno Rotary Club and has served as president of that organization. He lives in El Reno with his wife Pam and their two daughters, Jessica and Melissa. They attend Resurrection Lutheran Church in Yukon.

Pamela K. Reichert, OD

Dr. Pam Reichert is also a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She has practiced in El Reno with her husband Dr. Joe Reichert since 1981. From 1983 through 1987 she was co-director of the specialty contact lens clinic at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City as well as teaching contact lens fitting to the ophthalmology residents. Dr. Reichert is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, the American Optometric Association, and the University of Houston Alumni Associaition. She is currently serving as a board member for Prevent Blindness Oklahoma. Dr. Pam lives in El Reno with her husband Joe and their two daughters, Jessica and Melissa. They attend Resurrection Lutheran Church in Yukon.
